Poga area update: Power will be restored to Bob’s Island area today, there are 27 customers served there. Plans are being made to get the far section of Poga on within the next couple days. Mr. Scott Robinson is going to assist our crews with heavy equipment to set poles to get power to that area which serves 22 customers. Atley Brown Rd. is inaccessible to build lines back at this time.

Heaton Branch area update: There is no road to access this area right now. The Carter County Road Department has not made MEC aware of any plans when they will build the road back. MEC is attempting to go in an alternate route, but it will take several days to complete once work is begun. This area could be off for a week or more.
